Interview with Randolph Hamston: 2015 and its battle with racism
The Witcher books and games touch very deeply on real world issues. Especially racism which it touches on in an interesting way. While there are multiple human races they are generally separate in their own cultures and do trading. There are cultural barriers but the real racism that we see today is shown through a human against elves/dwarves. Where the non-humans are essentially the same likeness of a monster. Which in many ways happened in history thousands of years ago and all the way to this current day.
